Mobile Phone Policy

1. This Mobile Phone Policy (“Policy”) is effective as of

, and is entered into by and between:

Company:

company_name, with its principal place of business at company_address, registered under number company_registration_number, represented by company_representative (company_representative_title), hereinafter referred to as “Company”;

and

Employee:

employee_full_name, residing at employee_address, hereinafter referred to as “Employee”;

Collectively referred to as the “Parties.”

1. Provision and Ownership

  1. Ownership:
  2. The mobile phone provided to the Employee, including all associated accessories (e.g., charger, case) and SIM card, remains the sole property of the Company.
  3. Device Assignment:
  4. The Company assigns the mobile phone to the Employee for business-related use, and the phone is subject to the terms of this Policy.

2. Permitted Use

  1. Business Use:
  2. The Employee agrees to use the mobile phone primarily for work-related communications and business purposes. Personal use should be kept to a minimum and must not interfere with professional duties.
  3. Compliance with Guidelines:
  4. The Employee shall comply with all Company policies, including any IT and data security guidelines, when using the mobile phone.
  5. Authorized Applications:
  6. Only applications approved by the Company may be installed on the mobile phone. The Employee is prohibited from installing software that may compromise the device’s security or the Company’s data.

3. Prohibited Actions

  1. Unauthorised Use:
  2. The Employee shall not use the mobile phone for any illegal, unethical, or offensive activities, including but not limited to harassment, defamation, or unauthorized disclosure of confidential information.
  3. Security Violations:
  4. The Employee shall not modify the device’s security settings, jailbreak or root the phone, or disable any security features provided by the Company.
  5. Data Misuse:
  6. The Employee is prohibited from storing or transmitting confidential Company information on unsecured apps or networks.
